Covid-19 Related Scheduling Changes For Our Clinic (Mar-Apr 2020)

Out of an abundance of caution we have decided to greatly minimize our schedule for the rest of March and for all of April (possibly longer depending...). These changes would allow for more time between patients, an overall reduced number of patients weekly, and the ability to not use a single treatment room twice in a given day. We were hoping that these types of steps wouldn't be necessary. Based on clinical first hand accounts, advice from our western medicine colleagues, and a deep exploration of available published clinical data we feel that for our patients and our staff this is a good compromise compared to closing all together.
Unfortunately there is no fair or easy way to do this with as many patients as we see. So on Monday March 23rd, 2020 (starting at 11am) we will be putting up a new scheduling option entitled "Acupuncture w/Chad (Covid-19 Schedule Mar-Apr)" that will allow booking appointments from Tuesday March 24th through the end of April only (our scheduling system is here). Preceding that we will be doing a mass cancellation of nearly everyones appointments for March and April (May and forward will remain untouched and hopefully stay that way!). There are a small number of people for various reasons that we will put on the new schedule manually, but most will just have to try and see what they can get. If you have a hard time with our online schedule system, please contact our office.
Also a reminder that if in the last 3 weeks you have had or currently have symptoms related to covid-19 (or a positive test) please contact us directly for herbal consults only. There is much we can accomplish herbally both for prevention, early onset and recovery phases - most of this is described in my recent covid-19 herbal treatment post on our blog. In short, do not think that acupuncture treatment is your only option for this or any other health issues, we can do quite a bit herbally. For our current patients we will be available for phone/email consults and possibly video consults as well depending on how things go (even if we are forced to close our clinical operations).
We hope you are all well, adjusting to this temporary new "norm" and know that we are here for you. We are looking forward to getting back to our regular schedule as I'm sure many of you are as well. We greatly appreciate your patience as we make these adjustments for the safety of everyone and we greatly apologize for any disruption this may add to your likely heavily disrupted life!
